Register for this 2-day class July 11 and 25 from 10 AM-4 PM and you'll make an impression when you construct a large vintage-inspired tote, perfect for packing along for trips. Bring your 4-thread serger or your 8-thread serger combo machine. Don't have one? Try out one of ours in this beginner/review class and find out what makes a serger essential for every crafter.
Day 1 features fabric prep and stitching segments for the front and back panels.
Day 2 puts all the pieces together to finish your bag.
Serger Feet required: Blind Hem foot/Lace Applicator, Standard foot, Cording foot
Skills addressed:3-Thread Narrow Rolled Hem, Wave stitch, Flatlock, Puffing/Gathering, Cording construction and attaching, 4-Thread Overlock
Materials should be chosen and labeled as Fabrics A-E before class begins.
