Chevron Quilt Class students are welcome to join but the class is not limited to them.  If you have a quilt "sandwich" but it's been waiting, unfinished, let us show you how you can get it done at last.

In today's session, we will explore and play with options beyond stitch-in-the-ditch and straight line/decorative sewing by machine:

• Clear Blue Tile vs Edge to Edge
• Hooping best practices
• Free-motion tools and tricks
  • Basting and sewing with the stitch regulator
  • Basic shapes and how to audition them
  • Ruler work or not to ruler work?
  • Which shape should I start with?
  • Recommended sources for support

Supplies to bring:

• Sewing machine in good working order
• Extension table for your machine (recommended)
• Standard bobbin case AND spare case if you have one
• Your quilt sandwich/practice sandwiches (10-12 inch squares at least)
• Thread and bobbins to match
• Mono-Poly thread and variegated/solid thread for bobbins
• Needles and spares (80/12 and 90/14 recommended)
• Gloves with grippies/quilting gloves
