Imagine - September Block Discover

Craft a special gift for hard working scholars and teachers with our Discover Block from Nancy Halvorsen's Imagine book.  Everyone is welcome from 12 PM to 4 PM September 12.  

Laura will guide you through this multi-hoop project.  We will create one 14" x 14" block that you can transform into a pillow or a wall hanging for yourself, a gift or as a fall raffle donation.  

Choose to attend either in-person or virtually.  Beginners to embroidery are encouraged to attend in-person.

This class is set up as machine embroidery.  It works best with 10.5" x 16" hoops or larger.  However, the design can be custom sized for any machine.  Everyone is welcome!  

Class fee includes embroidery files, cut files, HeatNBond Lite for applique.

• Basic Supplies 
• Imagine by Nancy Halvorsen

Fabric supplies to bring:

• Top left wall background 5.5" x 10.25" (or larger)
• top right wall background rectangle 9.5" x 10.25" (or larger)
• Bottom table background rectangle 14.5 x 4.75" (or larger)
• Scraps for applique pieces
  
• SF101 or polymesh stabilizer to fit your hoop
• Basting spray (optional)
• Batting (optional)
• Embroidery and sewing thread
  
• border fabrics (optional)

*This is not a ScanNCut class.  If you own a cutting machine, cut files and measurements can be sent prior to class for cutting ahead of time.  Virtual registrants will receive a Zoom link for joining.
