Imagine - June Block Inspire

Make a spash this summer with our June Inspire block class at Quilt Lizzy! Join our "school" for this cute water and fish design from Nancy Halvorsen's Imagine book.  Everyone is welcome from 10 PM to 4 PM June 13.  We'll craft the whole block as a pillow cover.  Learn how to build borders and add a zipper to the back of the project.

Laura will guide you through this multi-hoop project.  We will create one 14" x 14" block and transform it into a pillow for your home this summer long.  

Choose to attend either in-person or virtually.  Beginners to embroidery are encouraged to attend in-person.

This class is set up as machine embroidery and sewing to finish the pillow.  It works best with 10.5" x 16" hoops or larger.  However, the design can be custom sized for any machine.  Everyone is welcome!  

Class fee includes embroidery files, cut files, HeatNBond Lite for applique.

Class supplies to bring:

• Basic Supplies
• Imagine by Nancy Halvorsen

Fabric supplies to bring:

• Left top background 9" x 6.6" (or larger)
• Right side background rectangle 7" x 15"
• Bottom left background rectangle 9" x 9.5" (this gives extra background for trimming to fit.)
• Scraps for applique pieces*
  
• SF101 or polymesh stabilizer to fit your hoop
• Basting spray (optional)
• Batting
• Embroidery and sewing thread
• buttons for embellishing fish eyes (optional)
• 20-22" zipper (longer for larger than 18" pillows
• 1/4 yard border fabric
• fat quarter for pillow cover back

*This is not a ScanNCut class.  If you own a cutting machine, cut files and measurements can be sent prior to class for cutting ahead of time.  Virtual registrants will receive a Zoom link for joining.
